THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The Nigerian 6-3-3-4 Educational System is operated. (This simply means that each student is expected to spend three years each in the Junior and Senior Secondary Schools before eligibility for admission into Nigerian Universities or any University outside Nigeria. Towards their final year, the British Cambridge Syllabus is also inculcated in the school curriculum to prepare interested students for the London Cambridge examination or IGSCE.

Subjects offered in J.S.S. Classes (Year 7-9)

Core Subjects -English Language,Mathematics,Basic Science,Basic Technology,Igbo,Yoruba,Computer Studies,Civic Education,Cultural and Creative Art,French,Christian Religious Studies,Physical and health Education,Social Studies.

Electives-Home Economics ,Agricultural Science,Business Studies.

Subjects offered in S.S.S. Classes (Year 10-12)

Core Subjects- English language,Mathematics,one Science subject(Physics,Chemistry,Biology),One vocational subject(Technical Drawing,Agricultural Science,Foods and Nutrition).

Electives- Biology ,Chemistry, Physics ,Agricultural Science, Literature-in-English , Economics, French, Government, Christian Religious Studies, History or Geography ,Financial Accounting ,Visual art, Technical Drawing, Foods/Nutrition ,Further Mathematics. *Computer Science

PROMOTION AND SUBJECT SELECTION - JSS3-S 1 (YEAR 9-10)

As specified in the National Policy for Education,students are expected to pass the following subjects at credit level to qualify for selection into the

*Science Class:-English language,Mathematics and Integrated/Basic Science.

*Arts or Social Science Class:-English Language,Mathematics and Social Studies.

Computer Studies Curriculum

The ICT training of the school is implemented by Beryl Solutions- an international IT training institute. The curriculum covers Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Web Development, Oracle 10g & 11g, and Microsoft Professionals Certifications. It is both theoritical and practical based.
