To produce well-balanced students, co-curricular activities are integrated in the school system including excursions, games and sports, social clubs, educative films, bible classes/student’s fellowship, talks, Swimming e.t.c.

Co-curricula Activities

These activities include:

Physical Education (P.E.): this holds weekly on Wednesday. All the pupils come to school in P.E. uniform.

Recreation for Nursery Pupils: The school provide a wide range of equipment (swing, merry-go-round), see-saw, horse etc) on the playground. The playtime is well supervised by the teacher.

Piano Lessons:This is an addition to the general Music lessons for all classes. It is optional for an extra fee for the older pupils.

Swimming Lessons: Interested pupils take swimming lessons at the nearby Lafia Hotel swimming pool for an extra fee.

Clubs and Societies: Pupils are enlisted in the various clubs and encouraged to participate actively. These clubs include:

  • Literary and Debating
  • The School Choir
  • Drama
  • Football Team
  • Bible Club
  • Sports Club
  • Press Club
  • Home Makers
The school organises local and international excursions to enhance learning and also to give the pupils maximum exposure to other cultures and values.

Assembly: The School inculcates the fear of the Lord in the pupils during morning assembly. Moral instructions are also given for their awareness of their responsibilities to their school, families and community.

Birthday celebrants are also acknowledged during the assembly to make the pupil feel special on such occasion.
